artskullWho Is Art Skull?
From corporate design to lowbrow graphics, I'm a professional graphic designer with over 15 years experience in concept sketches through final production.

What Does Art Skull Know?
I'm skilled on a Mac and PC using Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Quark XPress, Acrobat, Word, Excel and Powepoint. This site was built while teaching myself HTML and Dreamweaver. I am currently learning the world of 3D graphics using Poser 6. Over the years I've worked in a number of media including pencil, acrylic, pen & ink, watercolor, etc. I have also worked in 35mm photography and more recently digital photography. Shockingly enough, I've even painted murals for children's rooms and I've taught an illustration course at my local community college.

Where Did Art Skull Learn All This Stuff?
From an early age I knew a career in art was for me. Growing up in the Philadelphia area, I spent most of my youth watching Dr. Shock's Saturday afternoon creature features and reading Famous Monsters of Filmland. My passion for illustration led me to The College of New Jersey. In college, I studied illustration and graphic design while DJing a hardcore / heavy metal show on WTSR, the campus radio station. After graduating with a BFA, I continued my illustration and design education taking courses at the Joe Kubert School of Cartooning and Graphic Design in Dover, NJ as well as Animation Arts in Cherry Hill, NJ. This learning process continues today as I meet other artists on-line that have offered plenty of comments, critique and feedback.
